Q: Do you allow pets?
A: All of our rental units are non-smoking and do not allow pets.
Q: Are there air conditioners in the mountain getaway cabins/rooms/vaction home?
A: Yes, there are air conditioners in all of our rental units.
Q: Do the cabins/rooms/vacation home have fire pits and fire wood?
A: Yes, all the cabins and vacation home have fire pits (not all of the rooms). We also have firewood for sale.
Q: Do you provide breakfast?
A: All the cabins, vacation home, and 2 room with kitchenettes have equipped kitchens to help you to make your own meals. Grocery store is 2 miles away in Hill City.
Q: Do you have a swimming pool?
A: We do not have a pool. However, we are close to many lakes and a indoor water park. So you can bring your swimming suits if you plan on enjoying these attractions around the Black Hills.
Q: Do you have laundry facilities?
A: Full service laundry is available with a $15 cost for a medium garbage bag size load. There is a small laundry facility in Hill City (2 miles away) if you’d prefer.
Q: Do you have handicap facility?
A: We don't have handicap facility in all of our rental units.
Q: Where are the cabins/rooms/vacation home located?
A: Restmore Inn - the South Dakota vacation rentals is located off Highway 385/16. Our physical address is 24191 Hwy 385 Custer, SD 57730. However it's closer to Hill City, just 2 miles South of Hill City. Our Elk Ridge vacation home is located at 272 Pond Court Hill City, SD 57745. In the evening, the traffic gets quieter, and it is not an issue. It is very convenient to be able to get to the many Black Hills attractions [link to THINGS TO SEE & DO] from Restmore Inn.
Q: What time is check- in/out time?
A: The check in time is from 4:30 P.M. to 10 P.M. (Mountain Time). Please call our offices if you plan to come earlier. The check out time is 11 A.M. Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M.
Q: Does cell phone and Wifi service work in the cabins/rooms/vacation home?
A: Yes, cell phone and Wifi service works just fine in all of our rental units. Regular phone lines are not provided.
Q: How does the return customer rates work?
A: After you made reservations, we will check on our system for return customer's names and take a discount off from the remaining balance.
Q: Is there hiking nearby?
A: Our property borders U.S. Forest Service land. You are welcome to hike and explore the area and wildlife in the back of our property during your trip. Access to the Mickelson Trail is just across the street.
Q: Is there a pack and play available?
A: Yes, we do. We also have a multifunction high chair.
Q: What is provided in the cabins?
A: In addition to the amenities that are listed for the cabins/rooms/vacation home, we also provide all of the bedding liners, towels, and propane for the gas grills.
Q: Do you have parking for trucks, trailers, motor bikes, or ATVs?
A: We have a very bid field for parking that can fit all our guests' vehicles, trailers, moto bikes, or ATVs. It is in front of Bears Den Cabin.
You may want to bring: paper plates, paper towels, aluminum foil, shampoo, lotion, sunscreen, facial tissues, flashlight, laundry detergent, first aid kit, etc. Note: There are grocery store and a General Dollars store located in Hill City, just 2 miles away from our location.
